Special Education in Saratoga Union School District

Special Education programs are available to all eligible students from preschool through 8th grade in Saratoga Union School District. If you have reason to believe your child needs special education, please contact your child's teacher or principal at any time during the school year, or speak with the registrar at time of new student enrollment. For parents of preschool-age students, please contact the district Special Education Department directly at (408) 867-3424, extension 512.

SELPA III Community Advisory Committee

The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is a group of parents and educators interested in helping children who have special educational needs. The CAC meets during the school year to work with school district staff and administration to promote children's needs and provide parent education.

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)

No-cost ADR services are available to assist school districts and parents in proactively resolving special education disagreements and disputes brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
