Santa Clara County Mandatory Travel Directive and Stay At Home Order
Travel Directive (Revised December 15)
The Santa Clara County Public Health Department has issued a Mandatory Directive on Travel, which strongly discourages leisure and non-essential travel.Persons traveling into Santa Clara County, whether by air, car, train, or any other means, directly or indirectly from a point of origin greater than 150 miles from the County’s borders must quarantine for 10 days upon arrival.Monitor for symptoms for 14 days.
Students and staff who are on campus for teaching, working, in-person learning hubs, services, Learning Labs, or Tree House must adhere to this order to maintain the safety of your cohort. If your family is affected by the travel quarantine, please have a friend pick up items during materials pick up (e.g. Flip Flop Friday, Sea Turtle Swap) or contact your school office or teacher to make arrangements.
We appreciate our SUSD families' diligence and attention in keeping our learning community healthy. Thank you!
Stay At Home Order
In light of significant increases in COVID-19 cases and associated hospitalizations across the United States, the State of California, and within Santa Clara County, this Mandatory Directive implements the State’s Regional Stay At Home Order as of the effective date and time of the Directive and until 12:01 am on January 4, 2021, unless the County Health Officer otherwise rescinds, modifies, or extends this Directive.
