Current SUSD students must complete their student's information update for next year by the last day of school. A reminder letter is mailed home to TK-5 families in early May.
In late spring, SUSD parents/guardians are required to update their child's data and confirm enrollment for the next school year. Updated data include: parent contact phone numbers and email address, emergency contact names and phone numbers, student medical concerns/allergies, photo permissions, district agreements and indemnifications, school directory listing, and more. If there is a residence address change, download the Address Change Packet and bring the requested documents to the District Office.
Student information updates are done via the PowerSchool parent portal in early May through the last day of school in early June. Instructions are sent via eNews and home letter in early May to elementary school parents. Middle school parents may complete the update starting May 1 via their PowerSchool Parent login.
For incoming K-5 students who miss the deadline, the student name will not be listed on the first day of classroom postings.
For Redwood students who miss the deadline, they cannot pick up their schedule on the first day of schedule pick up.
PowerSchool Registration/InfoSnap is a secure online solution utilized by Saratoga Union School District. InfoSnap enables new-to-district families to register online and enables currently enrolled families to verify/update their student(s)' information prior to the start of each school year.
To access InfoSnap, your student must be currently enrolled or preregistered with the school district.
NEW TO SUSD students: after you have completed the pre-registration process at the District Office, follow the directions in the InfoSnap email sent to you. Your snapcode link is listed in the letter.
CURRENTLY ENROLLED students: The InfoSnap portal will open in early May through the last day of school. View the instruction download on this webpage. Instruction letters for students in grades TK/K-5 are mailed in late April. Redwood families should log into the PowerSchool parent portal and click InfoSnap Enrollment. To make changes to your contact information, emergency contacts, or address for the current school year or after the portal closes, please contact your school office directly. Your student's enrollment confirmation is due by the last day of school!
Please contact InfoSnap Support at firstname.lastname@example.org or (866) 752-6850
Please contact SUSD Registration at email@example.com or (408) 867-3424 extension 0.
Be sure you are using the correct format (xxx) xxx-xxxx. Note the single space between the right parenthesis and number.
Transitional Kindergarten and regular Kindergarten registration will take approximately 45 minutes. Grades 1-8 will take about 30 minutes. If you need to step away, InfoSnap will save your session and you can resume later by logging back in. Save your snapcode and password in a safe location.
Much of the information we will ask about your student are items that you would know readily such as birth date, location of birth, etc. However, additional details you need on hand include, but are not limited to, are:
• your snapcode or login url (sent via email when you completed preregistration)
• password if you've already created an SUSD InfoSnap account
• parent/guardian email and phone numbers
• previous school information (name and address)
• student's doctor and dentist name and their phone numbers
• names and phone numbers of up to 3 additional LOCAL adults you wish to authorize to pick up your student in event of emergency, illness or evacuation, and we are unable to reach the parent(s)/guardian(s)
• name and phone number of after-school caregiver if applicable
• dates of previous dental and physician checkup (month/date)
It depends. Students already enrolled in SUSD will enter their elective choices via PowerSchool during the springtime. For new-to-district enrollees, you will select elective course during the online registration process via InfoSnap. Be sure to read through the course curriculum guides and know what your choices are.
