Returning Student Enrollment Confirmation and Information Update

  • Each year in late spring, SUSD parents/guardians are required to update their child's data and confirm enrollment for the next school year. Updated data include: parent contact phone numbers and email address, emergency contact names and phone numbers, student medical concerns/allergies, photo and media permissions, district agreements and indemnifications, and more.

    If there is a residence address change, download the Address Change Packet and submit the requested documents to the District Office

    Student information updates are done via the PowerSchool parent portal in early May through the last day of school. 

    • If you've forgotten your password, don't have a PowerSchool account, or have an elementary school child who started new in SUSD in the current school year, please email registrar@saratogausd.org during the school year. 

    • If you already have a PowerSchool parent account, login to the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Click on the student's name in the blue bar, click the Returning Student Registration icon, complete the information update pages, and SUBMIT. To update another sibling, go back to PowerSchool, click on the next student's name in the blue bar and repeat.

    For incoming K-5 students who miss the deadline, the student name will not be listed on the first day of classroom postings.

    For Redwood students who miss the deadline, they cannot pick up their schedule on the first day of schedule pick up.

Who Needs to Complete the Update?

  • Enrollment Confirmation for the next school year

    Currently enrolled students who will continue in SUSD for the next school year do NOT need to re-register. However, in late spring parents/guardians will receive instructions on updating their student's information and confirm enrollment for the next school year.  

    Transitional Kindergartner moving into Kindergarten

    If you are already enrolled in SUSD, you do not need to re-register your continuing student.  In late January, you will receive a letter via USPS and/or email to request your elementary school for the next year.  Note that TKers have the same placement priority as new registrants registering during the Regular Registration Period. Please return your form by the due date in the letter. Forms may be dropped off in your school office or district office. Complete your online Enrollment Confirmation (via PowerSchool) by the last day of school (instructions will be sent in late spring).  

    Elementary school students transitioning to middle school

    If you are already enrolled in SUSD, you do not need to re-register your continuing student for transition from elementary to middle school. She/he is automatically moved onto Redwood Middle School. Complete your online Enrollment Confirmation (via PowerSchool) by the due date. Instructions will be sent in late spring.  

    8th Grade student transitioning to high school

    Visit the Los Gatos Saratoga Union School District website or call the high school district office at (408) 354-2520.  LGSUHSD is a separate school district so you will need to complete the student registration with that district.

PowerSchool Enrollment

  • PowerSchool Enrollment (formerly InfoSnap) is a secure online solution utilized by Saratoga Union School District. PowerSchool Enrollment enables new-to-district families to register online and enables currently enrolled families to verify and update their child's information prior to the start of each school year. 

    To access PowerSchool, your student must be currently enrolled or preregistered with the school district. 

    New to SUSD students: after you have completed the pre-registration process at the District Office, follow the directions and link in the email sent to you. Your registration snapcode link is listed in the email. 

    Currently enrolled students: The PowerSchool Enrollment portal typically opens in early May through the last day of school. View the instruction download on this webpage. To make changes to your contact information, emergency contacts, or address for the current school year or after the portal closes, please contact your school office directly. Your student's enrollment confirmation is due by the last day of school or the date listed in eNews.
