School Communication
Schools communicate with parents/guardians at least once per week via a school newsletter called "eNews." eNews is sent to the email address(es) listed at time of registration (new student) or when you complete your students annual update (returning students).
Schools send out eNews and notifications starting in mid-August and throughout the school year. While sometimes lengthy, it's important to read these weekly reminders carefully!
Classroom, school, and district eNews are posted via your ParentSquare app. At the start of school, new to district families will be email instructions on activating your ParentSquare account. With the app, you will be able to correspond with your teacher, class parents, as well as receive timely news from your teacher, school, and district office. You can also customize how you wish to receive your notifications (email, digest, language, etc).
In event of a specific student issue, such as your child becomes ill at school, the school will reach out via phone directly to the parent, guardian, or emergency contacts if the parent cannot be reached.
In event of a school or district wide emergency, you will be notified via mass-messaging with email, text, and/or voice.
If you ever have questions or concerns, please reach out to your school office or teacher.
