Media Relations
The Communications Coordinator serves as the official liaison between Saratoga Union School District (SUSD) and members of the news media. We are committed to responding to media inquiries promptly and transparently while prioritizing student safety and minimizing classroom disruptions.
Media Requests
- All media requests: Reporters, photographers and videographers seeking comments, interviews, or access to SUSD personnel or campuses must submit inquiries through the Communications Coordinator.

On-campus coverage: To protect student privacy, media members must receive prior approval and be accompanied by the Communications Coordinator while on any SUSD campus or school property.

Student privacy: SUSD strictly adheres to FERPA and district policy regarding student media releases. Photos, video or interviews with students require prior parental consent.
