Guidance and Counseling
-
Saratoga Union School District believes in educating the whole individual. Beyond the classroom at Redwood Middle School, the Guidance Counselors partner with families to help every student become their best self. The Redwood Guidance Counselors support students and families with academic, social/emotional, and physical well-being. Services are available to all students at Redwood Middle School. More information about the counseling supports and services, the PTA sponsored Club 47, and the student recognition programs can be found on the RMS Guidance Counseling website.
The district also partners with Counseling and Support Services for Youth (CASSY) to deliver a comprehensive mental health program for students at all four schools. A full-time therapist is on campus every school day at Redwood Middle School, grades 6-8. Part-time therapists are on campus at each of our elementary schools to provide mental health services for grades K-5.

I received my BA from UCLA in Sociology and Education and my PPS credential and MA in Educational Counseling from San Jose State. I have been working with students of all ages 8 years in various capacities and am passionate about helping students explore their interests and abilities. My goal is to support and provide students on campus with the necessary skills for them to thrive in our ever-changing and dynamic world.
When I'm not on campus, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two cats. I also enjoy watching independent movies, eating traditional Greek food, and visiting family in Europe during the summer.
