Tree House volunteers are an important resource for our after-school program, helping create a safe and supportive environment where every child can thrive. As a volunteer, sample responsibilities include the following activities:
- Homework Assistance: Support students in completing their assignments and answer any questions they may have.
- Assist with Enrichment Activities: Help staff set up the activity materials and assist students who are struggling with the activity.
- Support Outdoor Games: Help staff supervise outdoor games, ensuring students are playing fairly, using kind words and having safe bodies.
- Facilitate Small Group Play: Help facilitate small group activities, such as board games, art projects or pretend play.
- Encourage Participation: Encourage students to actively participate in the planned projects.
