Building Use and Facility Rental

Community/Civic Facility Use Requests

Facility Use is not guaranteed until the application has been approved and payment must be received at least 21 days prior to the first event date.

1. To rent a facility or inquire about building use, contact the appropriate school site where you want to host your event.

2. Complete and sign the SUSD Facility Use Application and Agreement. Make sure to note the date, time, location, and all necessary services (i.e., custodial, I.T., restrooms, Child Nutrition Services, etc.). Applications must be completed and received for approval at least 21 days before the scheduled event.
3. Deliver or email the completed application to the school site for the principal's or designee review.
4.  The school or District Office (depending on location submitted) will notify the applicant of the final application department if any extra services are required/requested (for example, I.T. support, child nutrition services or additional custodial support). 
5. A certificate of liability is required naming the District as an additional insured. This must be submitted to the same email address as the application. The applicant will be invoiced by the school site or District Office for any applicable fees or services. SUSD also reserves the right to waive selected fees in whole or in part for applicants based on established criteria, discretion and space availability.
