For the safety of our children, attendance is monitored every morning. Please call the Attendance Phone Line and leave a message with the following information each day your child is absent:
- Child's Name - please spell the last name
- Child's Teacher
- Reason for Absence - state if your child has an infectious illness (eg. strep, chicken pox)
- Homework - you may request homework, and pick it up in the office after 3:00 pm.
- Your Relationship to the Child.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO CALL EACH DAY YOUR CHILD WILL BE ABSENT, unless you know ahead of time how many days your child will be out of school and specify that period in your message. The Attendance Phone Line is available to take messages 24 hours a day. If you need additional information not provided here, or on the message of the Attendance Phone Line, call the office at 867-4036.
REMIND YOUR CHILDREN THEY MUST COME TO THE OFFICE FOR A LATE SLIP IF THEY ARE NOT IN THEIR CLASSROOM AT 8:30AM.
Children are not supervised on campus before 8:15 am. Please do not drop them off before that time.
School attendance is vital for learning. Please make sure that your child is in school daily. Late arrival of students disrupts the instructional program for that student and all students in the class as well as the teacher. Please make sure your child is arriving at school a few minutes before the bell rings. Please keep your child home when ill. This is important to prevent the spread of colds, flu and other infectious diseases. Often, students become ill during the school day. We do not have medically trained staff on site, but do our best to make appropriate judgments about the child's physical condition. If you are called to pick up your child from school, please do so immediately.
