Welcome to the 2010 – 2011 school year.  Another summer has quickly come and gone.  We hope you had a wonderful break and are looking forward to a new school year.

Please support our students and school by becoming a PTA member and donating to Just Do It. This is the PTA’s one and only school wide fundraiser to fund our programs and events for the whole year. Please refer to the Just Do It form.

There are many opportunities for you to be involved in PTA programs and events.  Please take a look at the volunteer form for ways to get involved.  Also, mark your calendar to attend our PTA meetings listed on the back.  You will get to meet our principal, Kelly Green, and find out what’s happening at Redwood and our school district. 

IMPORTANT ITEM!  Our data collection and entry for the school directory information has been automated. You will be able to submit your contact information via a website to be printed in the directory. We urge all parents to be included in the school directory.

Be informed.  Be included in email distribution. Almost all communication is done by listserve email distribution.  Please sign up at http://www.saratogausd.org/redwood/index.php/email-signup if you haven’t done so already.

Come join us on August 30^th for “First Day Coffee” at the library, 8:30 am for 6^th grade parents and 12:30 PM for 7^th and 8^th grade parents.

We hope to see all 6^th graders at the 6^th Grade Social on September 3^rd right after school, see the flyer for more information. This is a fun opportunity for all of the 6^th graders to get to know each other.
