First Day Packet Information

To better serve our district families, the Saratoga Union School District is pleased to provide Start-of-School information online.  By clicking on individual links below, parents/guardians may read the electronic version of district policies, procedures and information and/or print these documents for reference and use.

Please read the Parent's Rights and Emergency Plan (link listed below) before signing the Signature Page.  PLEASE NOTE:  a copy of the Signature Page is mailed to your home address by your assigned school site, along with a green general emergency information card and a copy of the sheriff's safety questionnaire and district map.  If you need additional copies of the Signature Page, please download from the link below.

Elementary School Families

to your student's teacher on the first day of school - August 24, 2009.

when you come to pick up your student's schedule on August 20 (1-4 p.m.) or August 21 (9-11:30) in the RMS Multipurpose Room

PLEASE NOTE:  Your student's schedule will not be released to you until all forms are returned.  After August 21, student schedules will be available in the RMS school office during business hours.  Please CLICK HERE to be transferred to Redwood's website for more information.

  • Letter from the Office of the Sheriff - For your child's safety, please read this letter from the Office of the Sheriff and then print and return the Safety Questionnaire (listed below) as well as the district route map to your student's school site as directed above.  Please note that a copy of this letter and the safety questionnaire is mailed to your home by your assigned school.
