 Christmas will be a bit more special for several children in the Bay Area. The Foothill PTA's annual "Giving from the Heart" program organized and delivered car loads of gifts to the Bill Wilson Center , Jeremiah's Promise and Estrella organizations for underprivileged children and families. In a 2-week window, the program accomplished Christmas tree cutting and decorating, ornament making, picking up gifts, posters, flyers, listserv msgs, reminders and more reminders, shopping for gifts, wrapping gifts, sorting all the hundreds of gifts and finally delivering them all. At the end of all the hard work, it is very satisfying to know that hundreds of children will now have a gift to open up on Christmas Day. Thank you to all the families that donated presents, money, time and effort to make this happen.

SEF Phonathon - Sunday, February 8th |

On Sunday, February 8th, more than 100 parent volunteers will be making calls for Saratoga Education Foundation's (SEF) biggest fundraiser of the year. Teachers, administrators and school board members will also generously donate their time to this effort! Parents and community members fund important educational programs in grades K-8 through their donations to SEF. These donations fund our music, computer, PE, library, art, theater, and science enrichment classes. This year's Phonathon goal is over $300,000. Callers are needed! Brief training provided.
