Parent Pre-Approval and Reimbursement Procedures

If you are a parent buying on behalf of a teacher, please read: All expenses associated with the classrooms, including field trips, supplies and parties must be pre-approved.  Please check here for complete details and pre-approval sample form. Pre-approval forms and SUSD Reimbursement forms can be found in the Foothill workroom. Reminder: parents must not spend money before approval form is completed and approved. Last Day to submit these Reimbursements is June 6

News from the Library

Yearbook Orders for 2012-13 School Year

When can I order?   If you order AFTER MAY 15, it will cost significantly more ($40+).  How do I order?  ONLY ONLINE at:  http://www.betteryearbook.com/preorders/foothill.htm  When will my child get the yearbook?  If you order by May 15, your child will receive the yearbook in class on or before June 5.  If you order after May 15 (at a HIGHER price), your yearbook will be mailed to your home after June 10.  What's the yearbook all about?  It is 88 pages full of color photographs from throughout the year.  It documents events, teachers, students, activities, field trips and more.  It is a fabulous keepsake of this year at Foothill School.  Who do I contact if I have questions?  Presley Troyer at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .  408.867.1092 hm 408.316.4686 cl

SEF Art Show 2013

The SEF Art Show will be displayed in the Multipurpose Room on May 23rd during the Foothill Open House. We need volunteers to help transform the room into a display of beautiful student artwork.   • Wednesday -- May 22, put up paper on walls to use as artwork backdrop (6 volunteers needed)

  • Thursday -- May 23, put up student artwork (12 volunteers needed)

  • Tuesday -- May 28, take down student artwork (12 volunteers needed)

School Accountability Report Card

The 2011-2012 School Accountability Report Card (SARC) for Foothill Elementary School is now online.  The report includes information regarding curriculum, class size, student achievement, school climate and more.  The SARC report is required by state law.  They are posted each spring for the previous school year. . . Stay up to date on important school news and reminders.  If you are not receiving the Foothill eNews via School Messenger, please check the following:
  • Check your spam box.
  • Check your email security settings/preferences to ensure "School Messenger" email is not being blocked.
  • Contact the school office to verify that your email address is correct in PowerSchool and your student's green card.  If your email address has changed, let your school office know so it can be updated.
