Argonaut's Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is an organization whose members support our children in the school and in the community, encourage parents' involvement in the school, and facilitate communication between school staff and parents.

Parental involvement is the cornerstone of the PTA. Involved, caring and dedicated parents enrich our school environment. Studies of parent involvement overwhelmingly confirm it has a positive effect on children's well-being and academic achievement. Involved parents help gather support for schools and bring additional resources to benefit the schools.

The Argonaut PTA sponsors many enrichment programs, as well as fun activities for the children. These programs and activities are funded primarily through the direct appeal fundraiser Just Do It! The Just Do It! campaign requests a donation of $100 per Argonaut student. This direct appeal method frees up considerable volunteer hours from an elaborate fundraising event, allowing these volunteers to work in classrooms where they are most needed. A small, but significant amount, nevertheless, is raised via Argonaut T-Shirt and Sweatshirt Sales and Boxtops for Education (from General Mills). All PTA fundraising revenue is put directly into the school and classroom via school supplies, school equipment, continued learning seminars for teachers, school-wide events and more. 100% of your Just Do It! donation stays at Argonaut.

The PTA also produces the School Directory which is available only to PTA members. The directory is an indispensible resource for getting in touch with Argonaut friends, arranging playdates, or asking about that homework assignment you forgot.
